From the few games I've seen him in so far, this dude has enormous potential. He has even drawn comparison to Dream. I would really consider taking him #1 if I had the pick.

I would not. But he could be good one day, assuming his age is legit.

Wouldn't take him over the Big 3 of Wiggins, Randle, or Parker, but at 4? Why not?

As of right now no. I think Parker seems like the most cant-miss player right now in the draft. Wiggins is the player that might drop to #3-#5 if he doesn't really take a step forward in the next few weeks, or guys like Gordon/Randle etc. continue to look incredible.

Embiid... looks about as high upside as any big man that's come out in the past 10 years, but with that upside comes risk. What I've seen of him so far is pretty telling though. His passing out of the post has been pretty promising, However his overall offensive ability looks pretty rudimentary. Hakeem at that age, was already dominant offensively. I dont want to see those types of comparisons... very unfair.

Keep in mind that scoring 16 points against Iona is a little different that dropping 25 against the Bulls in the NBA. Teams have to be very careful about making sure that talent at that level will translate to the NBA, or he could end up being drafted too high, and labeled a bust too quick.

Don't know that I'd take him over Parker or Randle. I've not been impressed with Wiggins but won't go into detail about that here. Embiid's potential is considerable, but he's much to learn before he even approaches his ceiling. My sense is that he'll be drafted high if he declares after this season but would probably benefit from another season of college basketball before entering the NBA. In any case, Embiid would be best served being drafted by a team that uses him initially as a piece of the puzzle rather than a centerpiece because he's the least NBA-ready (at this point) of the prospective lottery-picks for next summer's draft.

Crazy to think that the NBA gets to infuse even more ridiculous talent when it already has the most marketable stars in its history

I can't wait to see him up against Anthony Davis

You might want to revisit Dream Team 1 (and realize there were still marketable ,and marketed, stars that did not make that team.

It's hard not to imagine Kansas winning it all this year.

Can anyone stop Embiid, in the college game?

If Wiggins continues to develop well...yikes.

honestly, I'd consider Embiid over Wiggins, and Marcus Smart over all of them

God this draft could go down as the greatest ever
