From the % it doesn't look like all of the GMs participated and/or didn't answer all of the questions. 1. I hope to God it was Golden State's GM that picked them to win the NBA Finals because he was the lone guy. 2. At least Morey has some homerism in him picking us to win the division
Kinda funny how, despite having the best SG (by a wide margin) and the best C, we don't make hardly any of the other lists. What's so great about them if they aren't great defenders or rebounders or scorers or leaders or anything? I thought the results on defense were a bit weird. Howard and Ibaka were tied for 3rd as best defender overall, but Ibaka almost doubles Howard's performance on best interior defender. It also surprised me that Beverley, fresh off of 2nd team all-defense, didn't get any votes for best perimeter defender. Tony Allen (who I know is a good defender anyway), Klay Thompson, and Avery Bradley got votes over Beverley without making any defensive team.
And Kevin Durant got mentioned in following categories: best shooting guard, best small forward and best power forward... That's pretty stupid.
Thanks for catching that! That just means there's one very delusional GM that thinks the Warriors can be champions.
Which means Pop voted for us to win the division since he couldn't vote for himself. Nice guy that one.
I remember being so angry at the lack of coverage & more importantly the lack of respect that The Rockets received after winning our Championships...looks like nothing's changed in 20 years... Dwight Howard received votes for best role player? Yeah, thanks for coming.
This survey isn't real or truth. Like somebody else said, the gms aren't spending an hour out of their day to really spend time with this survey. This feels more like an allstar fan ballot than anything else.
GMs have shown they don't need to understand basketball or even know what goes on beyond their own team so it's a bunch of crock anyway.
