The coaching staff has survived for much of the offseason.

    The front office, though....

Gee, I wonder how Cuban plans to rebuild post-Dirk.

Let's see if Morey can rebuild his staff using only the 14th pick.

Guess this shows that everybody has mad respect for the Rockets now. They are copying everything we do and trying to get the people in the know.

    Those sunsuhbidges!!

But good luck Rosas. Deck out your Dallas crib so you don't ever have to go out amongst Dallas natives.

Well I doubt any of those guys were about the be hired as GM's of the Rockets. Of course they're leaving for better opportunities.

The interesting thing to note is that luck is probably the biggest factor in Houston's turnaround. Sure, "luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity", and much much much much much credit to Daryl and his team on being prepared. But absent the opportunity created by the new CBA, and most importantly, the Thunder's need to choose between Harden and Ibaka AND the Wizards dumb decision not to make the trade for Harden, none of that preparation pays off.

Will the teams hiring these guys away benefit from the same kind of opportunity? Maybe. I do like the Jrue Holiday trade already for Hinkie.

Rosas is a native Houstonian too. Dang Mark. Didn't think you'd take the Dwight rejection this hard.

In all seriousness.... Other than Morey, do the Rockets have any other NBA basketball-side executives left?
