I voted Chris Bosh. Riles mortgaged the Heat's future for short-term mediocrity. The $118 million contract will be a millstone around their franchise after the first 2 years. Maybe sooner.

How much is Parsons overpaid compared to Bosh (IMHO worst contract) and Hayward? I'm pretty sure Parsons is much better player than Hayward, so by default all those who picked Parsons in the poll are probably just sour he left the team.

Regarding Bosh, 4 years is a lot of time for an NBA player, and in those 4 years Bosh went to 4 finals seasons where he played out of position and banged with Cs almost all the time, he has a lot of mileage already. And even when he was at his very peak, Bosh was only worth 20M, not 30M. Your arguments for Bosh could also work for Parsons, what else are Dallas gonna do to stay relevant? WHy is not ok for Dallas to overpay for Parsons for 2-5M a year but it's ok for Miami to overpay for 10+M every year?

Dallas has a lot of scoring punch now. They could be very good.

The Heat has a draft pick obligation to the Cavs this year.

What happens in 16-17 is a different story...

He's at least doing 2 jobs. President and head coach on a team that sold for 2B, SVG got a 7M deal to do both jobs and he hasn't won a thing. If the lowly Pistons forked up 35M for SVG why shouldn't one of the most valuable franchises in the NBA pay Doc 50M?

Now? they were an elite offense, built upon some great 3 point shooting, which is all but gone now.

What they were was a crap defensive team, and unless Tyson has a renaissance, still will be, if not worse.
