    Chron has Oxheart.

What do you think is number 1?

I've long had Tony's at the top of my list.

Are you actually going to eat, or are you just asking?

Taking a woman or business or family or what? Details, dude.

I always thought Da Marco was a can't miss. Tony's too. Newer places: Oxheart, Underbelly, Reef. Those are the only expense account places I've been into town for in the past year

Underbelly is way overrated. Uchi. RGD. massraffs. Tonys.

Low key place - max wives dive still does good bar food.

^Hit them all. I was about to say those places. I've been to Mark's a couple of times. Pretty good.

I always liked that space, and the food was great. Another one of my old favorites...is the Backstreet Cafe still there? Loved that patio in the fall.

I know someone who went to Oxheart and hated it. He's an extreme foodie, too, as in he'll weekly drive to different cities for food.

I've never heard of Oxheart. I did a quick search on Google Maps to see where it's located, and this is the one sentence description:

"Thoughtfully sourced & vegetable-centric New American tasting menus in an industrial setting."

Sounds like something I would hate.

My favorite restaurant in Houston is Fogo de Chao. But it's not a really a local restaurant, and I'm guessing that's what you're looking for.

Oxheart is a good experience and a couple of the courses were so good but I'm not sure that it's worth the $100 min per person.

Provisions is always good, a buddy of mine went to Pass and said he had a better experience than Per Se.

So because Pass and Provisions hasn't been mentioned yet, I will add this.
