I was sceptical about him before i watched all them youtube videos with him, after that i became believer.
It's depends really, hes much more athletic than Bargnani and problem with Bargs is his help D, which is nonexistant and really really bad rebounding rate. So if Porzings is average or good at these. He instantly becomes beast level.
Lol, I know that's like your opinion and all and I'm trying to be respectful, but that's a really bad opinion friend. The only things Bargs and Porzingis have in common is race, height and shooting range. There's zero doubt in my mind that Porzingis with some guidance by Phil Jackson has what it takes to succeed in this league. His fundamentals and bball IQ are incredibly solid, he's shown great positioning on D, great poise on both ends of the floor, the ability to stay vertical with his stupidly long arms. He will be a great outlet passer if he gets better at rebounding since his head is so high up that he sees the court from a better perspective. On offense he has that soft touch that gets him friendly rolls which is really rare for a big guy. From interviews you can gather he's mature, calm, composed and intelligent. He won't play ego games, he will admit his shortcomings and will work on them diligently. You can tell he has a clear goal in his sight and will work towards it. He's kind of a basketball scholar and all reports say that he's a basketball junkie. Bargs is just a big ole lazy boy. Don't judge him based on his stats from yesterday's game, he was reffed very badly and at least 2 of his fouls were clean blocks. Also, his teammates were really bad at getting the ball to him. Reminded me of the Yao years. He's a walking mismatch and is perfectly suited for today's NBA. Man, I could just go on and on about this guy, I believe he really has something special. He's probably gonna get hurt now that I've jinxed him.
What is it with being 7'1+ and making those ridiculous outlet passes? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_uBE3aAl3Xg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DP2_BovnfBc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
They failed to qualify for their country in the discus throw, so they decided to take it out on the basketball competition? Kevin Love wishes he could be these guys.

Getting compared to Shawn Bradley by Phil: Regarding his biggest move as president of the Knicks, Phil Jackson acknowledged there's a tall risk involved. Kristaps Porzingis could be a lanky and awkward bust. "Like Shawn Bradley, who was nevertheless a pretty good player, K.P. might almost be too tall for the game," Jackson said in the latest edition of "The Phil Files" published by ESPN. "What I mean is that his core strength might never be good enough, and that he might not be able to get low enough to get himself into prime defensive position to body power rebounders or drivers." http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/jackson-admits-porzingis-tall-nba-article-1.2328520
