I've been watching this the past week or so through episode six. Great series and every episode the tension ramps up with excellent cliffhangers on almost every episode. Highly reccomended. Damn Netflix...first House of Cards...now Narcos. Look out HBO. You have competition!
I like the show but think it's a little overrated too. None of the characters except for Escobar are developed in anyway. The main DEA guy is especially forgettable.
OMG! This show is so freaking good! Just started watching last night and breezed through to episode 5. WOW!
I breezed through this in 1 weekend. It was good. Liked these 2 Escobar films better: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sins_of_My_Father_%28film%29 http://www.the2escobars.com/ Re: "Sins of My Father" The letter Escobar Jr. sends to the children of Gaviria, Bonilla & Galan is as heartfelt as it gets...
I thought he was good. I don't speak Spanish but I've heard a lot of Spanish speakers have criticized him for his poor accent and being Brazilian. Can't wait till next season. I wonder if... Spoiler they'll end the show with the death of Escobar or move on with the DEA agents story and to other cartel leaders. I'd hate it to end so short
