    Guillermo Del Toro so probably won't watch. Anyone described as a 'visionary director' is usually garbage. Del Toro is not an exception.

    It was good and underrated but I would think either of The Raid movies would be at the top of the list. I liked Pacific Rim and defended it when all of the haters spoke.

    If they follow the books it will be very good. The trailer looks promising. I like almost GDT's stuff. I thought Hellboy, Pans labyrinth and Pacific Rim were all good heck, I even liked Blade 2.

    I'm a bit confused as to why it's called "The Strain" when it is more like alien-like worms and vampires? I guess the strain explanation comes later.

    It felt like I was watching a hybrid of "Prometheus" and "Dracula".
