[Movies 2014] Hercules trailer released

That's some of the worst looking CGI I've seen in a long time

 

The Rock is a terrible actor and this is a terrible looking movie. Dreaded combo, wouldn't even torrent.

 

Yeah, and Jimmy Durante is calling The Rock. He wants his signature face back.

Haters gonna hate. Rock is an awesome actor. A true character actor.

That said, movie doesn't look all that great. Although that one shot of Hercules wearing the Lion...nice.

Agreed -- looks like the type of graphics I'd expect in a SyFy Channel original.

Maybe if I watch it on my computer screen via torrent, I may not notice the CGI as much.

Also, whoever they got to play Megara isn't attractive at all. I hope Hercules slays her. And I don't mean that as an innuendo.

 

Will watch this. I liked the scorpion king, I like him in fast five too.

That was a terrible trailer.

 

Nice to see something presumably not based on a comic book. Reading those World Book entries or juvenile fiction titles growing up, Greek mythology always seemed like a soap-opera written on PCP.

 

'I trained and worked harder than ever for 8 months for this role. Lived alone and locked myself away (like a moody 260lb monk) for 6 months while filming. Goal was to completely transform into this character. Disappear into the role.

Press journalist asked me today, with the mental and physical toll the role had on me, would I do it again? Not only would I do it again… but I'd do it *****ing twice.'

See, if this movie was The Rock as Hercules fighting a bunch of Sharknados, I'd see it in a heartbeat. But I'm not gonna pay to see this crap.

 

Not reading any "hate" in here. I like the Rock just fine. He is what he is, but some of us think the movie doesn't look very good in that trailer. (shrug)

And I'm correct that he is totally making Jimmy Durante face in a lot of those battle-face sequences.

 

Rock better hope he never stops working out.That is more food than I probably eat in a week.
