Like RG3, Vince Young's legs got him into the NFL, but a QB that lasts long enough to have a productive career must have a high IQ and mental toughness. The running quarterbacks have a few good years, but defensive love to break their wheels -- and, well, that's that. Young led my Horns to a national championship with those legs so I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for his Longhorn legacy. However, as a Texans quarterback .... nooooooooooo.
The fact that the running QB works so well in college but not the NFL is making it harder and harder to find good QB's from top programs. You can win tons of college games with guys like Tebow, Manziel, or RG3, but that BS doesn't work at the next level.
can he really be much worse than the ****storm we had last year? he was pretty solid in Ten until he went mental though why not bring him in for a tryout and see what he has... wont cost us anything
Yeah just what O'B needs a team dividing, washed up qb that won' t do anything but cost him his job. Ask a former Houston coach Jeff Fisher what he thinks.
I look forward to the day when Vince is so old that even the most delusional Longhorn homer will quit dreaming of him playing here. Anybody got a time machine?

The "an" was a leftover from the 1st draft of my post where I called you something worse than "jerk." Just don't get why you have to trash people so much. I'm confident you are the most negative person on the Texans board. I was trying to figure it out and found your twitter and all you do is bash people. VY is no saint but he's not a bad guy and is mostly guilty of not handling his money in a remotely competent way. Can't blame the guy for wanting to give it another shot at his dream. Just didn't work out. I don't see the need to be a *jerk* about it. To each his own I suppose.
