Woj is the master! He is currently 2 picks ahead of ESPN. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Denver Nuggets will select guard Emmanuel Mudiay with the 7th overall pick in the NBA Draft, league sources tell Yahoo.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/614224620061900800">June 26, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Kings will select Wilie Cauley-Stein with the No. 6 pick, league sources tell Yahoo.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/614223169025650688">June 26, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
It's in some ways better to avoid the internet until the draft is over. These spoilers kind of take the edge off of the surprise and excitement that comes with the announcements.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Detroit Pistons will select Arizona's Stanley Johnson with the No. 8 pick in the NBA Draft, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/614226046704066560">June 26, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Don't even get how Woj can be ahead of teams. These teams must really trust Woj's coverage to pick based on Woj's intel...
You first time draft watchers are laughable. WOJ does this every single year. Turn off Twitter and just enjoy the draft, rookies.
Yes and they continue to discuss the pics as if its some huge mystery that every hard core basketball fan doesn't already know. That is the laughable part. Most basketball fans follow Woj on twitter and already know the pick while ESPN pretends it is the great unknown. Laughable.
Impressive, I guess? I don't really see the service he's offering people following the draft with these "scoops". I think he should expend his energies doing something else. I can see why other teams would care, of course.
This isn't anything new. Last year he got the details wrong from a typo in a text from his source. ESPN goons and everyone else reported the wrong details right after he did, LOL
If he can tell me what the Rockets are doing so that I don't have to wait a couple hours to find out, count me in. However, if Ive waited all this time, don't tell me a few minutes beforeā¦I may as well find out on my own.
