Clearly want that Stretch 4 to play alongside Drummond. Greg Monroe gone for sure?

So Caron goes back to Milwaukee again?

    At least he's from there.

Wow, quite a salary dump for Milwaukee. Surprised they did this now, Ersan is decent enough I would've thought they could get picks in return for him.

Wow. Detroit got him basically for nothing. I guess Morey didn't agree with the Ilyasova lovers that he is the "chosen one" at PF we needed.

Wouldn't mind getting that #8 pick from Detroit. They'll still have cap space.

Of course, I wouldn't want to give them what they'd ask in return, so I guess that's moot.

Wonder where Greg Monroe will land.

Morey could have done the same trade with Papa and Prigs non garantee contracts.
    He is waiting

    Knicks would be perfect. Lol.

Monroe just isn't that great or worth the contract he will end up with.

Monroe seems destined for New York.

You hear and read this here and there, but you also hear and read about New York wanting to upgrade their defense. Greg Monroe isn't about defense. Then again, maybe he'd be a good fit in the (just-let-it-go-already-Phil) triangle?

[rquoter]AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has acquired forward Ersan Ilyasova from the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for forwards Caron Butler and Shawne Williams.

“Ersan Ilyasova is a player we have coveted since we got to Detroit,” said Stan Van Gundy, Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations for the Detroit Pistons. “Not only is he a proficient three-point shooter that can stretch the floor, he is a high-energy, hard-playing guy who fits extremely well with how we want to play. We are excited about what he can add to our team.”

“We appreciate the contributions of Caron and Shawne. Caron, in particular, is difficult to say goodbye to. Not only did he play well for us, his leadership went above and beyond. I'm not sure I've ever seen a single player have a more a positive impact on a team than Caron did on ours. He is a special person and we will always respect and appreciate what he did here.”[/rquoter]

Am I the only one that didn't know that players could be traded while the playoffs were still underway?
