The perception of a player can vary greatly because of fan loyalty. We hate players who have done well against us, especially if we think they exhibit some flamboyance in doing so.

If Jason Terry becomes a free agent, would you accept him as a Rocket?

If you were guaranteed an NBA title but the stipulation was tossing Dirk's salad, would you?

    No.

Maybe if he started his career here...but picking him up would be like getting a jeff hornacek. odd.

but his talent could be useful for sure.

Jason Terry is the exact guy this team has desperately been needing since 1997! We would be drastically better with Jason Terry.

Its funny, during the broadcast Mark Jackson said Terry asked Dirk what he could to do be better. Dirk's response, don't just step up in crunch time and in the big games, be consistent. UMMMMM, vice versa man, Terry should be telling Dirk to step his weak ass up in the clutch.

why not, he's killed us in the past, but i dont think he's really hated by fans as a player, just as an opposing player. It's not like AK or Okur.

Absolutely. I don't care how soft he is. It's not like a Rockets fan needs to be reminded of his ability to get hot and take over games. He's a smart player and fan favorite on top of all that too.

What's not to love except for the fact that he completely *MURDERS* us every time we play against him??

I was a fan of his game ever since he came to the league as a Hawk. He reminds me a lot of Nick Van Exel.

    So yes.
