They had Golden Tate, Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice. Neither ever had a season with more Tds than Dre in each season they were in Seattle. Seattle doesn't throw it enough and its cold as balls there, Dre would hate it there. He stays here or goes to San Diego, Miami or Baltimore but I think he genuinely like Obrien and Mallett. We'll see but I think Dre will restructure and extend his contract to cover the last three years he wants to play

This is an odd standard, but also not factually true:

    AJ TDs:

    2012: 4
    2013: 5

    Rice TDs:

    2012: 7
    2013: 3

    Tate TDs:

    2012: 7
    2013: 5

And if Lynch leaves in the offseason, then Russell Wilson will be throwing a whole lot more next year. That's not to say AJ would go there, just that the stats are wrong. Because so much of Seattle's big plays are made with Wilson buying time and scrambling around, Seattle's ideal receiver is probably shifty, fast and an improviser who can get open late, rather than a big, strong precise route runner.

AJ's doesn't have a lot of years of high TD totals to discount a particular year...

But one of the reasons Seattle probably doesn't throw more because they have one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Lynch and Russell are pretty much doing what they're doing without sufficient offensive line play.

LOL. the Seahawks are back. AFAIK, the entire league did not change head coaches two years or even one year.

Doubtful, he's likely to go way before our pick. I think it comes down to Andre Johnson simply not being worth his contract so if he's not willing to take a fairly huge pay cut he needs to be cut outright.

Meh, no player is more important than the franchise. If Dre refuses a pay cut he'll be hurting the team, thus he must go. The same thing happened to Olajuwon.

Boom! Absolutely. Who wouldn't trade a top 5 pick for a 3WR making $28,280,483,472,347,823,748,823,484,387 next year. In fact, I'm frankly shocked this hasn't already happened. I blame Kubiak.

    No, none whatsoever

I doubt we could get anything for Dre, if we could it would be a late round pick at best.

He wouldn't net much more than a late round pick if we did trade him. Percy Harvin got traded for a 4th or 6th round pick and he's much younger and dynamic at this point in his career.

I hope he does stay and I don't think he'd get that big of a pay day going elsewhere.

Best case trade for Dre is now like a 5th rounder, if that.

Hate to see Dre finish somewhere else, but I hate seeing the Texans miss the playoffs even more. Bye Dre. Good luck wherever you end up.

Why are you getting upset about this now? We've known this for months, hence the existence of this thread. There's no new information or confirmation, just reasonable speculation which again, has been going on for at least several months.

As in the, "The Texans will have to throw in a 5th rounder to get someone to bite"? No one is going to sacrifice a thing for the priviledge of paying him $16MM. They'll wait until he's cut.
