According to the 'insiders' saying Morey will target a PG in a trade that is going to be going through free agency - I think Knight would be a pretty good pick up.

    He's a pretty good defender/shooter.

Always liked him, but think he'll be pretty expensive (10mil+)

He's very underrated. I could easily see him as a fallback option here.

Is he really a good shooter? His stats are 41.4% FG 35.7% 3FG is not that impressive

yeah he's probably looking to get $10 mil plus..he's decent but he's has just put up numbers on bad teams so far. nothing really special imo. takes plenty of bad shots

He was a 37.4% 3pt shooter in his first 2 years with Detroit. 33% 3pt shooter last year in Milwaukee.

So he's clearly got the capability to be a good 3pt shooter. His percentage last year brought him down... but I consider that an anomaly considering he's always been a much better shooter than 33%. Even in college he was like a 38% 3pt shooter.

And having said that.. I haven't really seen him play much. I was just looking at the stats.

Eh. Knight's too average to trade for IMO. Decent shooter, but not really a PG and not close to Beverley on D. Pass.

Ideally you trade for someone with a small(-ish) cap hit, so can re-sign than guy and still be able to address another position/area of weakness in free agency.

3&D point guard. Don't want him at anything other than a very small deal.

What I've constantly heard about him from Bucks fans is that he is a SG that won't accept that he is one.

They said that his best role would be as a sixth man.

Fits the bill. But like Rubio or Beverley still gives you the 2nd worst starting PG out of the WC playoff contenders. The idea of Knight dominating the ball here scares me just as much as Rubio. I don't think adding him, even as a rental moves the needle. I'd rather have the Pelicans pick than Knight.

Would you take him if he made "good" mistakes?

    1. Knight would play off the ball here.

    2. No Pels pick for Knight.

    3. Don't even trade Bev or Canaan for Knight. Trade Terrence, Capella, and DMo for Knight, Ilyasova and Henson.

Send Canaan to dleague to continue to percolate. Give Dwight, Henson, Ilyasova the 4/5 minutes. Plug Knight in the perimeter rotation and let their trade values matriculate up. Then wait for the next opportunity.

Yes i'll take knight over isiah canaan and troy daniels. Let terry play the back up two and just really conserve his energy for playoffs. He tries hard on defence and is definitely better than Lin ever was. Again it all depends on how much and what we'd have to give to get him. He's only worth a straight up trade of canaan and possibly troyd.
