"After 25 years of serving as a CNN commentator and program host, our colleague Bob Novak's tenure on the network will come to a close (effective 12/31). Through the years, Bob has offered incisive analysis for much of CNN's programming, including Crossfire, The Capital Gang, Inside Politics, Evans and Novak, The Novak Zone, and Novak, Hunt and Shields. Bob has also been a valued contributor to CNN's political coverage. We appreciate his many contributions and wish him well in future endeavors," said Jon Klein, president of CNN/U.S. Later Bob, you're a hack and I hope I never have to listen to or read your partisan drivel ever again. source: http://poynter.org/forum/view_post.asp?id=10798
Send him to Gitmo, wire up his nutsack, have him stand on a box, and then maybe he'll tell the truth about who committed treason in the White House.
When you compare the work of Novak versus Paul Begala and James Carville, there is no comparison who the partisan hacks are. Begala and Carville are in large part responsible for founding the brain-dead partisan soundbite political world that we live in. They championed the insult-thy-opponent strategy of political debate with their "It's the Economy, Stupid" tagline from the Clinton team. Their arguments are without question less rigorous and less informed than Novaks. Heck, Paul Begala can't even make an argument without mentioning Halliburton or Enron. The guy is like clock work. Those two are to demagoguery what Marx and Engels were to communism.
I guess you can't think way back to 1988, can you, condorkador? Remember this guy? His name is Willie Horton. Remember what Dubya's Daddy and his crew did with him? Obviously not. Time for you to go back to your alternate reality now.
Did Al Gore drill it into the heads of the American electorate with a series of racist television ads? I didn't think so. Thanks for playing, condorkador. GAME OVER
After decades in captivity at CNN, Robert Novak will now be allowed to return to his natural habitat. Novak starts at Fox News next month, reports the Journal. -- Josh Marshall
tj is the definition of a partisan hack. He has openly admitted that he is more interested in waging "psychological warfare" than actually debating the issues. Sadly for the teege, his efforts as a psychological warrior are as ineffectual as his efforts as an actual warrior.
Since no one from the right has bothered to defend him, I'll accept that as an admission that Novak is as bad as I said he was. Thanks for the confirmation. Carville was a PAID political bulldog. Novak was pretending to be an objective journalist. Carville never pretended to be objective. The difference is painfully obvious to everyone that doesn't rely on Faux news for their information and thus doesn't grasp the difference any longer.
