I am sure Morey memorized all the names on that draft and has been reciting the names every night before he goes to bed ever since. He probably has all their pictures on his refrigerator.

So many 09'ers. Earl Clark was claimed off waivers by the Houston Rockets on October 24. So no *? ...undrafted in the 2009 NBA draft, Marcus Cousin joined the Houston Rockets for the 2009 NBA Summer League. On April 11, 2011, he signed with the Houston Rockets for the rest of the season.
If we're going undrafted players & anyone who's had any kind of contract with Rockets can add Garret Temple to that list (and for deeper chuckles, Diamon Simpson )
The whole story about Minnesota in the 2009 draft is actually pretty funny. I forget where I read it (Grantland probably); but apparently, before he departed, McHale (then the GM for Minnesota) left a master list of prospects in order of his personal evaluation. So, it's Kahn's first time as a GM and it's the 2009 draft. Rubio falls to the TWolves, so he picks them. Then they have the next pick and Kahn panics. He doesn't know what to do. So he looks at the list McHale left for him and sees that Flynn was ranked as like the fourth best prospect, right below Rubio. He doesn't think about fit. He doesn't consider that Curry- with his shooting ability- might be able to play next to Rubio. He just sees Flynn is the highest player available on McHale's list. So he takes him. And the rest is history.
