a work in progress screening debuted at SXSW last night, and buzz has been good http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/sausage-party-sxsw-review-875703 http://www.slashfilm.com/sausage-party-sxsw-screening/
I saw this last night. It definitely was a work in progress cause some scenes didn't have texture. obviously someone was smoking lots of weed when they wrote this one.
I don't know if the movie is any good, but I have to admit, I laughed pretty hard at the scene at the 0:50 mark.
Great concept, but concerned parents have mobilized and gotten a sense of entitlement over the last twenty years regarding family friendly genres and could make this very difficult to market.
Something vegetarians and carnivores can relate to. This movie will unite the world and there will finally be peace.
The Saving Private Ryan reference with the Oreo picking up the back half of his cookie in a daze killed me.
Something about animated brutality makes me physically sick. South Park, Super Happy Fun Time, this. Idk. I can handle real (movie CGI/special effects) gore just fine, but animated makes me sick.
Can't wait for the tweets about Parent's taking their kids to see it thinking its a Pixar movie. Remember, the trailers on TV won't have the swearing.
