saw screening of it yesterday, definitely going to say "wtf am I watching" throughout the movie. Started out good with a musical bit, which got me thinking if it was going to be like the South Park movie, but that was it. Middle of the movie was a bit slow pace. From the trailers I thought it was going to be in the household but was mainly in the grocery store itself overnight along with them roaming around in the city. The final act I can't describe until you see it, it made up the slow middle act. Instant reaction for me, I was "meh" about it, but after talking about it with my co-workers afterwards, I've been quoting the movie since. Highly recommend if you want to see a cartoon full of 4 letter words, sex references, racism, pot smokers, and Salma Hayek as a lesbian taco.
I thought it was hilarious. Maybe not as funny as I initially thought it would be, but hilarious. I'll be buying it when it's out I'm DVD. A couple scenes made me laugh harder than I've laughed at the movies in a good while.
Wife and I are going to see this after work today, looking forward to see how depraved this is, hopefully funny too....
Spoiler that ending, i had no reaction until about 5 mins I got out of the theater, and can't stop laughing about it
I know what the ending is, can't wait to see it. Waiting on my wax and will be heading to the theater.
Spoiler I lost it when the one sausage showed up with the stoner's head. Didn't quit laughing from then on. May have missed some stuff. Also, firewater and grits talking about what the crackers did to them had me rolling.
Spoiler I couldn't stop laughing when the bagel and naan started making out, along with them 2 and Frank jerking off while Teresa Taco was eating out Brenda can't stop talking about it at work
Spoiler The more I think about it, the more I want to see it again. In the theaters. I will buy on DVD first day out. Haha. Did you catch Walter's white flour? My wife did. I missed it.
Saw it, was ok. The final scene was great but everything else was just .... ok. Honestly it's on the level of the GhostBuster reboot to me.
Watched this last night- pretty disappointed. There were a few laughs but overall it's like Seth Rogan wrote this when he was 15 and didn't edit it as an adult. Why was the housewife MILF stabbing the hot dogs anyway?
