In his second season with NY (81 Games) he averaged 10 pts, 3 ast, 3 rbs, 1 steal, and shot 37% from 3 in about 24 minutes of play.

From what I've been hearing from Feigan, he's here to stay on the roster, with the Knicks paying for his salary.

Barring injury again, what are your expectations of him? Do you think he could return to form a la a six man role?

He plays good defense. So when lamb/martin gets burned on that end he will stop the bleeding. He will come off the bench most likely

Just serve as backup until next year when Maurry brings over Lull.

I have no idea. I was very surprised that we ended up with him. Of course, I was stunned that we lost Lowry and Dragic, so what do I know? Assuming we keep him, I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. I can look at his stats like anyone else, but I didn't watch much of his game last season.

Is he on the summer league team? I'm assuming not, but don't know for sure.

Trade him to Memphis for a second round pick since they are interested.

3rd string pg extreme chucker with no defense and he is not a point guard.

I have high expectations for him that I believe that he can reach.

I expect him to progress like Lowry and Dragic progressed when given the right amount of PT.

Last year was the worst of his career. I wanted the Knicks to lose, so it was great every time he stepped on the floor. It's hard to stay in the rotation when you shoot 32% from the field and turn the ball over every time you touch the ball.

If you throw out last year, he's a streaky shooter without great PG instincts. He's not a liability defensively, but nothing special either. He can be a rotation guy in the mold of Beno Udrih, but I don't think he'll ever be starting level material.

    Huh?

He might be a chucker offensively, but is certainly a good defender. He's certainly capable of bringing the ball over half court, but he's not a half court general.

At best he's a backup at the point spot who can bring rugged D and 3 point shooting to the table.
At worst he brings the D and his shot is off.

dleagued then cut after his contract. I'd rather give his salary from knicks to charity.

You can tell half the board doesn't pay attention to Knicks games, or any non-Rox for that matter. Douglas is a + man defender, and very good 3p shooter. He has major defeciencies with ball handling and being a floor general, more so than when C Lee tried it. My guess is, when he is on the floor 24-28 mins a game, White and Parsons will run the show, and it will eliminate, or at the very least mask, nearly every flaw in his game.
