I see him career wise a solid back up, Matt Harpring kind. Not a starting material.

Good fortune on our part that he had a solid game against Denver.

Oh, he's totally gonna start. The minute Battier gets hurt, Chase is going to slide in there and never come out. *cough* Just needs a little seasoning, you know what I'm sayin'?

    The kid's really got game.

Let me qualify the next statement. I'm not saying he's the next Larry Bird cuz he's white, but doesn't he play like a more athletic Bird without the automatic shot?

That steal early on reminded me of Bird's famous steal against the pistons.

What's his chance against the likes of Kobe, LeBron, Melo when he can't seem to shake Asian dudes in the Taiwan charity game.

Anyone notice how his skin color and hair blends in perfectly with the floor boards? I mean if the rockets can somehow get the old School San Diego Rockets yellow, hell be camouflaged for the whole game.

Fun, thanks for posting this. Do you have the whole game that we can add to the tracker?

Matt Harpring with a different body type minus the flopping plus better handles, a shooter's touch, more speed, length, and better hops... but otherwise you're right.

Bird could score in an isolation every, single, time...

If you could take a prime Dirk at the top of his game, and merge that with Chase, and add 1000x the mental toughness and physicality, you might have a "Bird-lite"... :)

Wan't racist comment, when Othello passed the ball, I couldn't even see Chase steal the ball. It was like outta no where he came and stole it.

I really like the ball handling demonstration he was putting on.

After having to watch Ariza all season, its a breath of fresh air

Don't underestimate Budinger. He has every tool--the athleticism, the shooter's touch, the ballhandling skills. The only question is whether he has the drive and aggressiveness to put it all together.

Do I think he could start? Yes sir, he could start right now for a number of teams in this league. And he certainly hasn't reached his ceiling, either.
