When Jeremy Lin is out of the league in two years will he go work on Wall Street?

He has a Harvard economics degree and huge name recognition. I think he could easily get a cushy job with a Wall Street hedge fund, especially one that's trying to draw money from newly rich Chinese nationals.

What do you guys think Jeremy Lin will do when he is out of the league at the end of next season?

He has the connections, just lacks the intelligence and the willingness to get his hands dirty.

I have a sneaky feeling he's going to be in the league at least another 3 years (1+ next contract). But you're right he has millions and an eduction = lots of opportunities = world is his oyster.

An economics degree doesn't get you ****. And he already has 8 figures in the bank, why the hell would he want to work in finance?

Maybe he wants 9 or 10 figures? A Harvard economics degree means he's highly intelligent and (along with his perfect SAT math) very quantitatively capable. I could see him joining a hedge fund, putting in a substantial amount of his money to build credibility, then being put into a role focused on raising capital from chinese entrepreneurs.

This of course is after the end of next season when Jeremy Lin fails to receive an additional contract from any of the NBA's 30 teams.

I don't know why you'd work a crazy high stress job like that when you've been making millions and have some socked away and can parlay your fame/religiosity into a public speaking or media career that would probably pay as much anyway.

Why settle for a yacht when you can go for the super yacht?

You're right though, it's possible that Jeremy Lin will go for a speaking/media career at the end of next season when he is left technically unemployed due to the 30 general managers of the National Basketball Association refusing to extend him a contract offer.

He would make horrible decisions in the clutch, causing the market to crash like we have never seen before.

LOF's will blame harden for not saving enough money to stave off the economic crisis
