Anyone else pulling for the Wild simply because they used to be the Aeros' affiliate?

Ovie guaranteeing a game 7 win. Need to make this one happen..for his career to start turning (playoff career, that is)--and for me, knowing the Rockets are where they are..

Blackhawks and Ducks should be an interesting series with both teams playing at the top of their games. One thing I will be interested to see out of this series is if the bump in competition will affect the Ducks. Going against the Hawks will be a big jump as opposed to their earlier opponents in Winnipeg and Calgary. Chicago has already had to go through top teams like Nashville and Minnesota so they should be ready for the Ducks.

Sad to see Calgary go. I wasn't a big fan but the 'experts' have been predicting their fall since Christmas. Would have been nice to see them bump the Ducks. And I've never really liked Emilio Estevez.

So it's Blackhawks here on in for me.

Conference Finals are now set and will begin over the weekend.

Eastern Conference Finals: New York Rangers vs Tampa Bay Lightning

While Tampa has played well all season and continued that play into the postseason I see the Rangers marking short work of the Lightning in this one. I envision the Rangers D really frustrating Tampa's playmakers and limiting Tampa chances and then Henrik will be there to stop whatever chances they get.

    Rangers in 5

Western Conference Finals: Anaheim Ducks vs Chicago Blackhawks

While I wrote out teams like the Hawks, Kings and Bruins before the year started as I though all the extra hockey those teams have played over the past 4-5 years was going to catch up to them I was wrong about the Hawks. Got to see them in person game 1 against the Wild and if you ever get a chance a home Hawks game is just awesome. As for this series I see it going the distance as both teams have been on all playoffs long and are both elite teams. I have to go with the Blackhawks because top to bottom I trust their roster more in a game 7 then I do the Ducks.

Rangers/ Blackhawks will hands down get the best ratings. I am rooting for TB/Chi Finals.

What a game. Our top 4 Dmen are exhausted. But the Hawks needed that game. Will be interesting to see now how games 3 and 4 go in Chicago. Hope we win. Go Hawks!

that header gif should go in the Dynamo or Euroball thread ;).

Go Go Blackhawks. I stopped watching at end of period 2. Not sure if I'm happy or sad I missed the next 3+ periods. I'm in enough trouble with the family already....

...and these dual Blackhawk/Rocket game days are not helping me resolve my already anti-social tendencies on game nights...

NBC SN app is the worst. I just missed 10 minutes of the 3rd period between the rangers and lightning while this stupid app tries to figure out what to do

I have the same issue. Hard enough watching one, but both at the same time is just too much. They both have the same start times too for each game which doesn't help at all.

And both will end longer and are more competitive than the NBA's conference finals.

Rangers are in trouble and on the verge of elimination.

Now the Lightning are up 2-0 in the 3rd period.
