Take the 3 pt line farther out except in the corners.

    Especially #1.

If a guy is posting up, don't reward the other guy for being weak. That drives me nuts.

Sometimes it's way crazy, if a guard gets stuck on Dwight it should mean bad day for the little guy. Mouse in the house...but the refs will consistently reward the little guy for falling down. Thus negating any advantage a big strong player like Dwight has...in fact turning his advantage into a disadvantage.

this so much. Shaq would have not been near as good of a player if the refs called the low post like they did today.

Howard get called for stuff way less than this.

I actually believe that Shaq was responsible for the way it is called. When he used his bulk and strength to get to the basket, there is no way to defend a guy like Shaq without trying to take a charge. Toward the latter part of Shaq's career, he started to see the change and was frustrated by the calls.

Not saying whether it's right or wrong. It's just that when a guy possesses some physical ability that is unbeatable, they change the rule to sort of level the playing field.

I am pretty sure the goal-tending rule was created when some freakishly tall dude started to swat out every shot at the rim. Now everybody is freakishly tall, we kind of take it for granted.

Some rules are made to benefit some players [Jordan and LeBron rules]
    others
Are made to weaken other players [Olajuwon and Shaq]
