You watch him. He's always banging with the big men inside on possessions. Love that about him. Probably the best rebounding PG in the league. And he can block shots, which means good instincts. I love this kid.

Rondo would like to kindly disagree...but right now...Beverly is playing like a beast...when is the last time a two Guard unit combined for 12 and 11 rebounds(with Beverly and Harden)

I found this a while ago (from over 4 years ago); it reminded me of tonight. Cooler heads will prevail.

That sofo guy does not look like someone you want to mess with.

So am I the only one that felt like this was a pretty good lineup to use? We would need brooks to step up his game, but I like starting Bev and Lin together

Bev/Lin as the guards is ok for spurts but then you will have mismatches in the post with Harden/Parsons. Subbing Brooks for Lin and the Rockets are practically midgets. :p

Notice at 1:30, Brooks and Garcia show their leadership while things get heated. I never really gave "veteran presence" much credit, but I'm starting to change my opinion based on subtleties like this.

    Sofo 21 wassup~~~

Beverley played amazing, 12 frigging rebounds??!

Seems like he has learned a thing or two from Lin. Interesting to see how Westbrook respond.

Lin has been real fortunate to have elite defenders Shumps and Beverley to be practice mates.

Very impressive game. Love how he runs in for the offensive rebound as soon as a shot goes up. And you can't say enough about his defensive tenacity.

Looking forward to many more games like this!

Huh... I can't imagine why the user "MDPJlin" would vote this thread down.

Beverley was efficient offensively, but it goes so much farther than that. His offensive rebounds created second scoring opportunities multiple times and his aggressive defense on Westbrook was obviously having a major impact based on RW's reaction.

I'm hopeful Jeremy Lin will be healthy in Game 3 because I'd like to see what this continues to do for Harden and Lin. Let Beverley do the heavy lifting of the point guard work guarding Westbrook and let Lin become a scoring weapon.

This is what i was talking about the whole time. Bring Lin off the bench to try and match Martin's scoring.

He's a troll. You should ask him what the MDP stands for. Also probably the one voting down any Lin related thread as well.

Clutch isn't saying bring Lin off the bench. Stop trying to jam that thought down everybody's throats here.

When they announced the starting lineup, I thought we were going to get killed off the glass. Looks like it was just the opposite. Props to Beverley and Harden for rebounding like bigs.

That rebound and putback at 1:53 was INCREDIBLE.

Bev has elite defense and god-tier rebounding for a PG.

If he keeps making open shots he will be a STUD.
