I don't see your dumbass out there in pads........never question a players' toughness unless your weak ass is out there in the trenches.
Lighten up, Francis. My post was largely tongue in cheek, but Clowney's durability was a question mark while at South Carolina and it has spilled into his pro career. Meanwhile, you are just another internet tough guy calling somebody else a weak ass. You are sooooo scary.
Sounds like a "stinger" to me. I suspect he will be fine. Hitting those pressure points can be very painful.

If it came after a head to head hit, then I'm guessing it's a stinger. Those can be really painful in the short-term, but rarely do they lead to longer term effects. I'm still a fan of holding him out on Saturday night. There is absolutely no need to put him out there. He's getting all the reps he needs in practice, and for him, playing the position is going to be largely intuitive. There's not a whole lot he'll gain from going out there this weekend.
OB said today that the 3rd preseason game isn't as important as it used to be. These last two weeks of practicing against other teams has largely filled the role of the typical preseason game. The starters can get their important reps in during the practices and be limited or even held out of the actual game.
Did Clowney miss any games at SC besides last year? Pro football reference said he played 13 games in '11, but category was blank for '12 and '13.
He missed 4 games in 2012. I don't know how many he missed in 2013, but he pulled himself out of the Kentucky game right before kickoff.
Why didn't they just say he had a concussion? Is this what we can expect for years under this coach? It is stupid to not disclose a concussion and leave everyone guessing just for your own amusement.
