Why nobody mention him? I know there were some bad blood from the last departure but the man is a good coach.

He happily settled in Houston and I can see he probably might want to get back into coaching.

I think the opinions on here aren't that people don't want him, just that it is very unlikely. Personally, I'm not sure why he's written off as not interested so quickly..

I don't think scoring 80pts a game is an option in this day in age:rolleyes:

It is if the other team scores less.

If the Rockets are serious about winning championships, they should have called him yesterday.

I would prefer JVG over anyone else. He is the original Thibs, except he's had the benefit of watching basketball these past 9 years from the sidelines. You got to think some principles of the new style he will adopt and make his own. Plus he still loves the city of Houston and continues to make his home here.

I think it's a perfect time to put egos aside and hire the most qualified man for the job. He was unable to get TMac and Yao to give him what was necessary physically. But I have no doubt Harden and Howard will be able to shoulder the burden he asks them to. Remember, he wanted Yao to show on all PNRs and he just couldn't do it. Now, with Howard and Capela, physically we will be able to run a JVG style defense.

I want JVG back. Plain and simple. This team is no longer about grooming the kids and developing talent. We are here to win. Now. JVG gets us there
