What he did with the sexual gesture is never appropriate. That assault with intent to humiliate. I have no idea why some rich people or so stupid. And Chris Paul, as a spokesman for State Farm, laughing while witnessing is risky on his part as well.

 

Griffin has entitled brat syndrome a bit.

But he's a damn good basketball player.

If the Clippers are really considering moving him, the Rockets need to put forth some serious effort somehow. He'd be an ideal PF on this team.

 

Why do the Clippers want to trade Griffin so bad?

 

They don't. All of these "rumors" were completely manufactured by media and consumer hype after the incident. It all started with bloggers and journalists writing that the Clippers "should" move Griffin (for reasons still unclear), and then it gained momentum into this crap about teams calling the Clippers. The Clippers have denied any interest in trading Griffin virtually every step of the way.

Griffin is a number one pick drafted by the Clippers themselves. The guy is a cornerstone and face of the franchise. No one is going to talk about any of this in two years, so why in the world would the Clippers trade the most bankable and talented superstar they have literally ever had in their entire history? There is no reason, therefore they won't. It makes zero basketball sense and zero marketing sense.

They wouldn't beat any of the other top 3 teams.
