Any chance this is a hoax to get people to talk about the movie? All of the stuff released in the hack could have been released in agreement with the actors as a joke. The Channing Tatum emails seem pretty unprofessional but he could actually be like that lol. The only thing is the release of movies like Fury. Just a random thought but probably because i want to see it.

Sony just announced the release has been cancelled indefinitely and is going to lose a fortune on this, so this seems unlikely.

    A fortune?

I doubt this was ever going to make Transformers level money.

I still consider the millions it cost to make, plus the millions it would have made to be a "fortune." Maybe I'm just not wealthy enough though.

Also, it's had a pretty heavy marketing push.

Terrorists win. They now own the U.S. movie industry.

If you don't see this movie, the terrorists have won.

The publicity from delaying the release of this film is about as incredible of publicity you could ever get.

I'm glad this is happening. Maybe now the world will stop ignoring North Korea and **** up that punk ass regime. That would be a regime change I could get behind:grin:

    Death of a President (2006)

but to be fair, CNN did refused to run ads for it, and a couple theatre chains refused to screen it too. However, it did win a couple of film festival awards, Roger Ebert and Rex Reed both liked it, and nobody threatened theater patrons over it.
