Just want to clarify that the Linsanity trade mark is officially owned by Jeremy Lin, not NY, not Knicks. I know this from a co-worker of mine who is Lin's cousin.

Linsanity is not over. It just moved to a more exciting team in Houston!

I think it might still be pending, also pending in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

A quick search on the government agency's website confirms:

OWNER: (APPLICANT) Jeremy Lin INDIVIDUAL UNITED STATES c/o Arent Fox LLP 1050 Connecticut Ave., NW Washington D.C. 20036

Update: There are others who own the trademark for "Linsanity" for other goods and services (such as perfumes/colognes, etc.).

Interestingly enough, someone else owns the trademark for athletic apparel:
OWNER: (APPLICANT) Slayton, Andrew W INDIVIDUAL UNITED STATES 923 Fremont Ave. Los Altos CALIFORNIA 94024
