Do you do studio recording? I just recently found out that Jeff Balke recorded the Tokyo Space Cadets demo cd. I was wondering if that was you. My band might be interested in recording with you in the future. You did a fine job with the cadets.
SRS, Found this on Tokyo Space Cadet's web site... I think Zero Zero 8 is now Jeff's music-centric business and Two Roads is his web-dev stuff... But it IS him... http://www.tokyospacecadets.com/disc.html
This thread reminds me, anyone have tips for remembering Jeff's last name is Balke and not Blake. I keep barely stopping myself from correcting people.
Yes, I do. I did the recording project for the Tokyo Space Cadets. I had a blast. Those guys know more Simpson's quotes than most of us do. Thanks for the compliment. Normally, I don't really advertise my services. I do small music projects and voiceover stuff, but not a lot of bands because my place is small, but I'm happy to discuss it with you if you want to explore it. Email me at jeff@clutchcity.net . x34: You explained it pretty well, actually. Zero Zero 8 is still active for the purposes of recording and production while Two Roads Media is used for web design only. ZZ8 is mainly for small recording projects like above or commercial production work like the voiceover project I just did for a corporate multimedia training program. As for Two Roads, the new site will be up fairly soon and all will be revealed! All: A quick guide to my last name ... Remember that it is pronounced BALL-key. Just like a ball and a key put together. It SOUNDS nothing like Blake even if it spelled similarly.
NO NO NO!!! I thought that people calling me that died with that series! It doesn't rhyme with gal or pal. It rhymes with ball or all - I guess, phoenetically, that would be BAWL.
The funny thing is that, if you do a search for Jeff Balke on Google, there are a bunch of references to "Jeff Balke" rookie cards and football cards. I didn't know I was a black quarterback. Where's my damn paycheck!!!???
