Definitely, Faried was a difference maker in the second half as an energy guy. But in general, with Davis dominance on both sides of the court and Harden's playmaking and composure are invaluable to team.

The Harden smear campaign is getting ridiculous.

Harden had an outstanding game, the best perimeter guy. The splash brothers were garbage, as was Rose.

    In other news...

@WojYahooNBA: Sacramento is finalizing a deal to send guard Jason Terry to the Houston Rockets, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

LOL Harden jumped into Asik's arms to give him a hug at the end of the handshake line.

Harden was by far the most effective perimeter player, yet he gets trashed because of one bad defensive play. And the thing is, that open 3 he gave up was his only blemish on defense in this game. The Harden hate really is becoming unbelievable.

Yeah, if Curry and Thompson are not on all the time then they shoot any ways. There is not much to their game beyond shooting. Curry is a playmaker and Thompson can play decent defense I suppose but they are very much live and die by the 3 players

Gotta say I agree. I obviously don't see all of their games, but I probably caught 15-20 Warriors games last year and I just don't get it. He's a jump shooter with some defense.

I know he can light it up from 3, but when that's not falling I don't see what else he brings.

Not to say I don't think he is a very valuable guy, I just think Golden State over rates him bad.

I know everybody says "don't worry about what the media says"...

But it's so tiring hearing Harden get dragged through the mud at every turn. It's just flat out annoying.

    Hahahahah, Bullard favorited this tweet:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>All Highlander Hoopers; please watch James Harden on offense then immediately close your eyes when he is on defense. Thanks!</p>&mdash; Dale Reed (@TWHCoachReed) <a href="https://twitter.com/TWHCoachReed/statuses/506172281664466944">August 31, 2014</a></blockquote>
