Ramadan Mubarak guys! I know there is a split on start date since Saudi won't start until Sunday. However we are in Houston, and are supposed to follow our community if a moon sighting is not possible (as far as my knowledge). May Allah bless us all this month and make the next 30 days easy for everyone! For my brothers and sisters fasting this month, may Allah grant us with good health, patience, and energy this month while we go through the longer fasting days this summer. Remember we are not just fasting of food and drink, but of everything bad (anger, cursing, smoking, etc.)
No no no, that's my line. Congrat's y'all, I'll have a cheeseburger in y'alls honor. But seriously, good health and all that stuff.

They're gonna play while fasting. Its hard but do able. Ramadan Mubarak. I start tomorrow. Can't wait!
It's not as difficult as you would think for a very healthy, fit soccer player. For an average man yes, I've played basketball for over 4 hours during Ramadan and i was alright.
may all the people fasting this month consider the muslim worlds great treatment of women's rights and focus on continuing that tradition in the future.
Depends on how you decide to act out Ramadan. If you prefer to just take your days normally (me), wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night, then you'd probably lose a good 5-15 lbs depending on how active you are. If you change your whole schedule because of it, such as by sleeping during the day and eating all night, you're likely to just stay the same as when you began.
