Okay I wanted to start a "Random video thread" since a lot of times you might find a cool video or something, but it's not necessarily worth it's own thread. But I don't like the idea of scrolling through a bunch of replies and comments to get to the next vid. It's in-efficient and a waste of time if all you really want to do is waste some time with vids. ;)

So I've come up with this thread that has two rules:

    1. If you want to reply, you HAVE to link to a video of your own. This way every single post will have a video to watch.

    2. If the vid or site is Not Safe For Work, then mark it NSFW. That's pretty basic, but I figured better to be safe than sorry.

I think it's a pretty cool idea and hopefully this thread will grow into a very popular time waster and entertaining thread.

If you don't know where to get new videos, just head on over to www.youtube.com It won't take you too long to find something worth posting (Or not worth posting. Whatever. ;) ). Also, try not to duplicate videos, but if you do then it's not a big deal. If this thread gets big enough, there's bound to be some repeats. And another note, the Hangout forum doesn't allow embedded videos. The Garm has that ability, but I haven't seen an embedded video work on this forum, so just use the link.

    And just to repeat again:

Do not reply to this thread if you don't post a video link of your own.

    Here's mine:

It's probably my favorite segment from the Colbert Report ever.

Stephen Colbert absolutely loses it trying not to discuss the allegations of Prince Charles being bi-sexual on the Daily Show. Wait till the end - that's where it gets hysterical :

    Super Mario 64.

Dude collects 70 stars in one hour.

He didn't use any cheats or any glitches, or a game hack.

The worst music video ever created (TV Land is spoofing this video in their commercials now):

Points of the video to note :

0:00 - Note the fact that someone used their lunch money to build the set.
    0:57 - Ok, she's cute.
1:15 - What the hell is this? The Chattanooga Choo Choo dance? Or some improvised train/lawnmower dance?
1:47 - Watch the wiggle-whip-into-pose thing this dude does... wth? Random!
2:00 - At this point, I think they stopped recording, smoked crack, then started recording again. The "dancing" for the next few seconds is beyond random. I don't know what to call it.
2:27 - watch for the dip the guy does; so gay he could've pooped a fruit cocktail with the maneuver (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Did you see Colbert on Conan? He mentions that segment at around the 8 minute mark. I'd skip to about the 7 minute mark and watch from there, but the whole thing's pretty entertaining. Youtube cuts videos off at 10 minutes and cuts off the last part of the segment, but all they do after this clip is talk about teh movie which isn't as good as the beginning.

You know, I've never understood the concept of using hacks to do a cool run. The impressive part is to show off your skills, not doing something over and over again and getting the best parts from each try to add up to one good video. That's like hitting reset if you lose a game and ruin your perfect record or something. It's feels cheap.

    Oh and here's my link:

Yeah I did watch that... on youtube (love it). Those LOTR nerds really zinged him. :D

Speaking of Colbert and the movie, here's a clip with Amy Sedaris, and easily the weirdest thing, zaniest thing they've ever done on the Colbert Report:

jello77, you're not supposed to respond without a link to a video. where's your link?! :D

FYI : that lady in that video was Miss Finland 1977 and died from pneumonia/possible alcoholism in 2002. Sadness.

Oh, and the following is quite possibly 1 of the 3 or 4 funniest video links I've ever gotten :
