Are there any Houston fans that are fans/collectors of Oakley X-metal sunglasses?

    I'm talking about:

    1) Oakley Romeo (R1)
    2) Oakley Juliets
    3) Oakley Penny
    4) Oakley XX
    and so forth...

I'm a semi-collector of Oakley X-metals as they have been discontinued for some time. Wanted to see if by chance anyone on Clutchfans share this interest.

    Thanks

    David

Are you a professional baseball player or competitive bass fisherman of some sort?

I still have my Ducati edition Juliets from like 2006? 2007?

Replaced the lenses with polarized ones. Still looks badass, like Eric Bana in the beginning of Black Hawk Down. Quick question though, I need to get the nose bridge tightened up and no sunglass hut/shop, or Oakley store has the tool(s). Do I have to ship my glasses directly to Oakley for this?

Hey..first off...awesome that you are a fan of the legendary Oakley X-metal line. Those sunglasses are truly unparalleled and never will be. :)

Now, yes the Juliets can get tuned up through Oakley Service for I believe $75 total including shipping both ways if I'm not mistaken.

    Oakley Service: (800) 403-7449

Just call them up and they'll explain the process to you. I've done it once and it's usually a 2-week turnaround if I remember correctly.

    Hope this helps

By the way, the service includes brand new replacement rubbers on your glasses as well.

I got some of those in Mexico about ten years ago.

You're going to need a lot of replacement rubbers once the ladies see you in those

You're THAT sure that I work for Oakley huh? You might want to check your deduction "skills" ;)

And yes there is a niche out there that collects oakley x metal sunglasses. To each their own.

Have you ever seen Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, Michael Jordan's shades during the Bull's Championship Parade or Ichiro Suzuki or Eric Bana in Blackhawk Down to name a few?

Google it. If it's not your "cup of tea" not a problem. But believe me when I tell you 3 years ago I couldn't fathom spending even $100 for sunglasses. Then I held a friend's Oakley Juliet and now I don't blink at spending hundreds on mint or brand new sets of xmetals.

Oh and how could I forget the MOST Renown reference of all: Cyclops in X-men

I believe they will provide new screws, rubbers and a tune up.

What colorway of Juliets do you have?
