Will the Rockets make a move?

Its so ridiculous to see stein quote gery. Gery is a sad old man leaving in small wisconsin town that makes up things and for some reason he got the rep of insider. He only was fed ONE story and that was due to his personal vendetta. But anyway.
Bledsoe's asking price wont be low..for now. Very good fit next to Harden though. But not a very good shooter. Good contract and he seems to be over his injuries.

    if this is true,

I would offer T. Jones + Papa + Nick Johnson and other salary fillers + 1 future 1st for Bledsoe

I would give up some for Bledsoe but I know he's known to some injuries, but he's a great athlete.

Don't see EB working out for Morey. They'll want the farm right now.

Morey is going to make his pitch to LMA. If there is no real deal to be made there Rockets are looking at returning as many as possible plus Llull, then next year Durant unless something opens up at the trade deadline that is too good to pass up.

Has to be a side of the Rockets brass that says Llull+ a great shooter, and the growth of the players on the roster will get them over the hump. Harden and D-Mo can still improve! Howard is the main player that would see drop off but I think he still has 2 more years at 15pts/ 12reb/ and great defense barring another knee/back blow up. Ariza/Brewer/Smith are what they are.

Bledsoe is a good player , the Suns will definitely look for a package that involves a decent big man.

I'd love Bledsoe here, although as Carl said, he'd probably get frustrating at times. If Llull ends up coming over- I think he'd be a much better fit here than Lawson. Probably at a very high price though.

Which begs the question what the hell are the Suns doing?

    Sign Isaiah Thomas
    Give Eric Bledsoe huge contract
    Trade Goran Dragic for scraps
    Trade Isaiah Thomas
    Acquire Brandon Knight
    Offer Brandon Knight huge contract
Put Eric Bledsoe on the trade block

    Makes my head hurt

Flipping assets until they finally land a true elite player to build around.

They did in one season what the Rockets have been doing the past 8 years (Alston, Brooks, Lowry, Dragic, Lin, Beverly)

Lowry was the one that got away, Dragic looked good but slutty

We traded Alston because he sucked.
Brooks because he sucked after injury.
Lowry because he sucked and McHale relationship problems.
Dragic because he was asking for too much (apparently).
    Lin because he sucks.
    Beverley (TBD).

Suns are just throwing away talent for no reason, getting no assets... its not smart.

Shocking how poorly the Suns have handled their situation.

True but Rafer wasn't that bad of a point guard, just a horrible shooter. Brooks and Lowry needed time to recover from injury but didn't get that because their backups were playing so well.
It's been a revolving door of PGs. Especially backups surpassing the starters after the starters suffer injuries (see Brooks, Lowry, and Lin).

I'm sure they'll want the farm but no team is giving the farm for Bledsoe.

A really good player but not perennial all-star potential to go give the farm for him.

Jones or Dmo package is a good fair trade.

I doubt Rockets tie up the salary cap on an ok player and handicap themselves from getting the third star.

Bledsoe is a slasher, not a good shooter and needs the ball in his hands. As such is not a good fit next to Harden. He knows how to play defense though, so if he sacrificed some of his game to play next to Harden, he would be a great role-player (kinda like Howard in the playoffs). But since he is young enough to hope for another big contract, I just don't see it. He would be dumb to bring down his value.

He's a good player, not just ok. His salary is very reasonable given the numbers he puts up. He's making just a shade over what Lawson is and no one seems to mind trading for that dude. Plus he's only 25 and is locked up til 2019. We'd have him and Harden(also only 25) as our starting backcourt for a very long time.

If we could get Phoenix to give us Bledsoe without having to give up D-Mo, I'd do that in a heartbeat.
