Couldn't find any information on him. Any word on injury? Such a shame he had to come out when he did. You can really see the growth in his game since last season.

Yeah, i almost cried when he limped off the floor. You can tell he is ready to go this season. I hope it isn't too bad.

Dude is a Baller. Hopefully not a severe injury, if it is, Moti and Aldrich will need to Step Up !

He scored a couple of points but it's his big body presence that was needed. He either dunked it or banged in the paint. He was able to hold the center position while Asik was resting.

He played pretty good. I especially was impressed on the offensive end. Last year, you could see he had skills but was intimidated/overwhelmed. Tonight, you could see his confidence and he had a couple nice plays including a monster jam off a Harden feed.

I hope he's ok. He looked like Barkley running the floor and dunking with authority:grin:

Hard to judge him on offense, all his points came off great assists or put backs.

He reminds me of a young Carl Landry when it comes to rebounding, not nearly as good since like Morris and Asik until the last quarter they were boxing him out a bit early on but he did well enough IMO. I can see why he earned spot and hope the injury isn't too severe because we could use the depth behind Asik.

I'm a fan, but biggest hands in the NBA, can't catch a ball. Seriously?

He's like a poor man's Amare. Would hate to lose him already.

Eh, yeah I don't think he's shown enough post-moves to warrant "best post player" honors. What I did see is a guy who is hustling, boxing out and going after boards.

He just may be our most athletic big as well, and with those big hands, he may be the best finisher as well.

If I could peg a role for him, it would be an enforcer, but not sure if he has the attitude for it.

He was my unsung hero of the night. Has a strong roll to the basket with Lin and Harden. Looking very strong. Great hands.

The pick and roll with Smith looked sooo much smoother than Asik.

I'm a huge Asik supporter and think he'll be a Beast this year, but G.Smith matched up way better with the Pistons.

I'd much rather G.Smith start at the 4, then Morris.

Kinda like the new Landry, only a undersized 5 instead of being an undersized 4.
I give Smith an A+ tonight.

More like the brokest mf on the planet version of Amare. But I get what you're saying.
