Problem with gsw, their best player is scared of the top players at his position. The dominoe effect of this is it renders klay somewhat useless. Even in the 1st game of the season, klay was guarding cp3 and curry was guarding barnes. On the other end ,cp3 was guarding curry. You can't have your best player being hidden,it sends a bad mssg. The best player has to have the highest accountability factor or the coach words are hollow.
Another example of the Warriors not messing around... They targeted the best assistant coach in the NBA and not him... Ron Adams. Kerr now has Gentry and Adams... Kerr won't fail now.
So what about the rockets? They have Mchale and you're okay with it. Are you done slobbing golden state?
Slobbing Golden State? I didn't like the Steve Kerr hire... I have said I don't think Love makes them a title winner... I DO like the hiring of Ron Adams and Alvin Gentry... A strategy the Rockets are trying to use. I am "ok" with McHale if you are going to throw names like Mark Jackson and George Karl at me... Come up with a real upgrade and I will listen.
Two rock-solid hires for Steve Kerr. That staff went from very questionable to clearly above-average. I'm incredibly annoyed to see the Warriors grab a top-notch guy like Ron Adams while the Rockets are piddling around with weakfish McHale.
