I remember when he was a projected top 5 pick before his freshman year at Baylor. He tore his ACL his senior year of high school though which probably slowed him down from his projection. He should have stayed in school longer. If he's healthy though, low risk high reward.
Kid is raw but already better than Jordan Hamilton. Id take a flyer on him he's oozing with potential
The Rockets are "expected" to be interested in every NBA player in and sometimes not in the league. It's too easy for NBA writers to throw their name in there just based off of assumptions.
[rQUOTEr]Free agent Quincy Miller has received several inquiries from NBA teams since joining the available market on Monday, with the Los Angeles Lakers as leading suitors for the forward, league sources told RealGM. The Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers also have registered levels of intrigue in Miller, sources said. A second round pick to Denver in the 2012 NBA Draft, Miller was a top prospect within the Nuggets’ organization as a multi-faceted player at 6-foot-10. Miller, who has gained two inches since entering the league, averaged 4.9 points and 2.8 rebounds last season. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/235418/Lakers-Among-Teams-Interested-In-Quincy-Miller[/rQUOTEr]
I remember him having a breakout game against us last year. I recall thinking who the hell is this kid? 19 points on 8-14, 6 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 assist, 1 steal and 3 three pointers. We played them on a home and home, but then he followed that masterpiece up with a 4-15 clunker. Who would you cut for this guy?
When you say 'great' what is it you mean? 31% from deep is poor. And his college 35% isn't great either...
