I wish we would have done this with Daniels, first...awesome idea, but works better with a pure shooter.
Unfortunately when it came to a game 7 against the Lakers, he was shooting air balls. Which analytics will predict that?
When Daniels becomes a Golden Gloves boxer and wins a national baton twirling championship, we can start talking Calvin Murphy comparison.
Why? I don't see that. Rice was way bigger - a small forward. Rice even got a lot of his points in the post. Rice was a shooter - and a scorer. Daniels is never going to approach Rice's production. I don't think you know Rice as well as you think.
I didn't read any of the posts in this thread because they're probably terrible due to the poorly worded title. But Daniels has one of the sweetest (if not the best) and most aesthetically pleasing shooting strokes I have ever seen. Anytime he shoots I think it's going to go in. He rarely even touches rim.

OK, let's get this out of the way. Dorsey, Garcia, Daniels and Canaan are here, but not currently in the Rockets rotation, unlikely to play.
— Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) October 29, 2014
So, this means Terry was brought in to take Daniels' job. Have to admit, never saw this coming. Especially not after his breakout shooting clinic late last season and during the Portland series. I am disappoint.
