Professional free agents out of NBA available for 2016 signing

Starting this thread to review free agents playing overseas and other places that will be available this summer to sign. I think these are very valuable players. Because you can find guys here that would be available probably for a minimum salary signing that will be just as good (or in some cases better) than some mid-tier type free agents that are making several million more dollars a season than the minimum salary contract than most of these guys would probably sign for.



First player:


Tyler Honeycutt

Honeycutt is a former Rocket. Now 25 years old. 6'8" and probably a shade under 200 lbs. Former (and still) volleyball player. He would be a nice 3&D wing signing. (Think Brewer replacement.)

His shot release is very quick (and accurate) coming off screens. He catches on the hop, uncoils and it's gone. Nice, nice stroke. Defensively he's very fast end to end, chases all over the floor, and he's got very quick springs. Reminds you of a longer McDaniels with a lot more defensive experience. Very fast in recovery. And very quick off the floor to contest shots. I think he'd be a great minimum salary signing this summer and a great replacement for a higher priced player like Brewer.
