I've seen it before, but it's a good quote nonetheless. He clearly has a good sense of humour about these things, which is great; being the 12th man and not being able to play a single NBA game must be killing him.

I love Brooks attitude and ability to put bad situations in a positive light. Steve Francis can learn a few things from the rookie.

Who knows? Rookies like Tayshaun Prince and Daniel Gibson first showed up big in the playoffs. Why not Brooks too?

It would be surprising though with all the depth we have at guard.

What a dork. If he is not playing in the regular season then I highly doubt he will see any playing time in the playoffs.

He should just STFU and wait his chance next year. Maybe.

I thought it was tongue in cheeky.

The guy's such an old-fashioned conservative. Saving his on court virginity for the big day.

I think he was being sarcastic and good humored about it. Don't take it too seriously man.

I have less sympathy for Steve than anyone else on this board and as long as fails to learn the plays and get in shape, he can rot on the bench for all I care.

But these comments that Steve should learn from Brooks from some of you are laughable comparisons. Brooks just got drafted - at the end of the first round. Steve signed here as a free agent and was once the team's "Franchise." It's understandable how the latter would expect playing time. There's no analogy.

    what he said.
Getting paid that much to sit on the bench, I would be cracking jokes like that all day too.

The Rockets could use some of that quickness on defense at the point. His size might take away from that though. I'm actually curious to see what kind of energy Carl Landry can bring at the PF spot. You can never have enough bigs in the west.
