    NBA.com uploaded this photo earlier, but sadly they only had Dwight, Lin, Parsons and Harden.

    I had to photoshop it and add Bev, Jones, D-Mo and Asik.

    Well, no matter the struggle, journey and outcome, I will always support my Houston Rockets!

    Honestly despite the heart break this year we had in the first round, I can't wait until next season. My expectations are reaching the FINALS only..... nothing less. And I expect some major tweaking; smart tweaking done to our roster; both starting line up and bench.

    Too many parts don't fit to turn it around in one season. Morey has run of out dumb GMs to #### over, and I'm doubtful that Asik/Lin/Parson is enough to haul in a third star. Then there's the issue of McHale, the perceived friction between Harden/Howard, and a roster with more holes than Swiss cheese.

    Then be prepared for disappointment. Right now, I predict a similar regular season record next season. 55 wins give or take(barring major injuries). And a loss in the first or second round(I'm leaning towards first round right now).

    The Spurs and OKC remain the class of the West and that's unlikely to change for at least another year. The Clippers have taken the next step toward contender status thanks to the addition of Doc Rivers(take note, Daryl Morey!). The Blazers have now surpassed the Rockets as the 4th best team in the West. The Grizzlies are arguably better than the Rockets with a healthy Marc Gasol. And the Suns could leapfrog past us given the foundation they already have and the number of assets at their disposal.

    I don't see what personnel changes the Rockets can make to cover up for their coaching deficiency. Melo is a longshot and he'd come at the expense of Lin, Asik, and likely either Jones or Parsons which would kill what little depth we currently have. Love ain't coming here and even if he does, it won't be til 2015 at the earliest. And the midlevel exception won't land you the kind of player who takes you from first round fodder to the NBA Finals.

    I hate reruns, but that's what 2014-15 is likely to be.

    2014-2015 may be a repeat of this season. But Morey has always been aiming for the 2015-2016 season.
