He will help them, but I don't think this will put them at the top of the league.

Amare is not a center btw. But as a mav hater, i would love for them to play him at center.

He's been most prominently playing Rehab for the last 4 years

It's an almost no risk move for the mavs, they're basically replacing awful with injury risk

I'm sure the guy who couldn't get much done in the East, is going to come into the West and do some damage.

They got the only guy who could possibly make their defense worse

Mark Cuban likes collecting these old, broken down former elite players...

Stoudamire is a rotation big that mostly gets by on guile at this point. He is a good enough rebounder and still an above average offensive player... Defensively he is bad.

With Jermaine ONeal not physically able to play, this is at best a wash. This doesn't really address their back up 5 need.

Cuban's kids needed defense, AS on the defensive side is average rebounder only, nothing else to speak of, he might get a few touches to take away from Dirk, Monte, Parsons, Rondo but does that really help? I think not. Nothing to see here.

Since they have such a high alley oop rating, Im afraid of amare jumping his whole current vertical of 5 inches. He may just come back down and blow both of his knees out again or worse yet the impact of him hitting the floor may even pop out an eye socket.

In all honesty, Amare used to be one of my favorite players when he was so springy and dunking all over Duncan back in the day. Those days are long gone and now is one them bastards up 45. So the hate is strong in me for they guy now.
