Carlisle is definitely not a douche. Quality guy and quality coach. He just has problems trusting his point guards. I think Avery is the same to an extent(when he's coaching). Sometimes they forget when they are coaching All-Star PG's and when they are coaching journeymen or rookie PG's I guess.

I think the more important question would be: How would Harden do with Rondo playing alongside him?

good thing he didn't come here. Doubt Mchale would have been able to reel him in, him and Harden would have clashed like crazy.

Let the Lakers sign him and turn Kobe's final season into a drama circus.

Rondo would be absolute garbage. He can't shoot to save his life.

I was going to type that in at the end of my post but I realized it would still have been a bad fit seeing as Rondo can't shoot for shiiit. Also his inability to play well off the ball just seems like it would have been a terrible move pairing him w/Harden. Sigh Dragic sigh :(.

For some reason I think Rondo would be a good fit on the Lakers.
Scott would have no problem relinquishing play calling to Rondo.
Kobe would have no problem ceding sometimes to Rondo because he knows Rondo isn't a scared punk and Rondo will compete just like Kobe likes to compete(as long as the team is competitive).

Who knows though, it'd be interesting to see if he does sign with LA, how things go.

I never said anything about deliberate pacing until the playoffs.

Rondo will bring his absolute best (whatever is left of it) to the spotlight of the playoffs. It's in his personal interest.

That's harsh. Now the coach won't even tell him when practice is over. :(

His pathetic FT shooting % azz better be the last one off the court.
