How the hell would Emma Watson do the role?

She's a twig.

They need to find someone tall, lean but with at least some bulk.

 

she has witch powers.. stupify! expelliarmus!

 

Maybe because she's practically the same size and build as the girl who just got cast? And she's British.

This isn't Angelina Jolie's tomb raider, this is based on the newer franchise of which a number of girls could do the role well.

 

Both are models like and pretty

howerer they lack in the rack or bust size department

 

I think Lauren Cohan would be a great choice. I love Emma but she would not fit this role.

I don't get why people want this character to be a movie so badly.
Or why any up and coming actress would tie her name to it.
Even though it will probably do great commercially.

 

So will I, tinman, but I'm shocked that the first two films grossed $432 million bucks. I didn't think they were very good, although the star was certainly great to look at. I'm hoping that the reboot will be a big improvement. Alicia Vikander is hot!

It could also be a franchise which would earn her big bucks in the long run if successful.....

Also she needs to learn from Brie and put some cushion underneath it.

 

They've actually stayed really close to the rebooted video game series, which is what this movie is based off.....

Most of these young starlets are average at best. I mean they are young and attractive. But I remember when sex symbols were like unbelievably perfect.

Look at a young Jane Fonda, in barbarella. Any guy that can get through barbarella without yanking it is probably gay.
Brooke Shields and Bo Derek in 10. Good grief.

 

I'm tired if these petite barely 100 lb super warrior women in Hollywood.

They have barely enough mass to take down a preteen boy.

Hire Ronda Rosey. She makes more sense. No where as hot but makes more sense.

Posters look like she added some muscle mass but that can be photoshopped in.

 

Gina Carano is/was hot, hot, hot.
