Great team play from the Houston Rockets: Kyle Lowry picks Jamal Crawford. Luis Scola scoops it up, finds Goran Dragic, who makes a gem of an alleyoop pass to Chase Budinger for the two-handed flush - vs. Blazers on 4/9/2012

I almost like this team better than the 09' team! Let's see what we can do in the playoffs (if we make it obviously).

You know it's a good play when Worrell starts doing bird calls. (0:20)

I really enjoy listening to Bill and Bull call games now, they have developed some very nice chemistry, I actually would like them to do all the games.

Best play of the season. Tremendous teamwork there AND...

It started on the defensive end.

I think Mchale has finally got it through everyone's head that if they play lockdown D, they get a lot more fastbreak layups, dunks and alley oops.

Man the Rockets are fun to watch lately!

Man, even with Lowry just barely getting back into game shape, he's already looking pretty good. I wonder if Dragic's play motivated him even more. The team already looks even better with Lowry back.

What I don't get, though, is why McHale is still playing Dragic over 40 minutes with a productive Lowry back on the floor.

    Conditioning.

Lowry was slated to be out for the season at one point. Its only his second game back so he should be getting 20 minutes for a few more games.

Yeah, but Lowry playing 20-25 mins (played 23 today) should be enough to buy Dragic more than seven minutes of rest, shouldn't it?

We are one all-star away from being a contender. All the pieces are in place but a SG/SF would take us to legitimate threat..

It would have, but Dragic was the only player capable of creating shots for himself and others on the floor this game. Scola was a no show, Parsons was missing everything, Bud can't create his own shot. We needed him on the floor.

That's probably why McHale ran Lowry with Dragic together for an extended period of time. Lowry could play point guard and at the same time guard the opposing SG (Crawford). Relieving the offensive and defensive duties from Dragic.
