This two-part drama charts the rise of INXS from the Sydney pub rock scene of the early 1980s to the pinnacle of the music industry to the tragedy that brought it all to a crashing halt. Featuring a stellar cast and unprecedented access to an archive of music, it's the ultimate rock-'n'-roll story of mateship, conflict, success and excess. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/LxTH2lb8Uis" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I thought radio kinda gave up on them a little quickly. They scored a huge hit with the "Kick" album (had four big singles, should have had six). "X" had two hit singles but had more solid songs on there. And I really liked "Welcome to Wherever You Are". I'd crank some of the songs: "Not Enough Time", "Beautiful Girl", "All Around". But by then they were a semi-afterthought. Got a ton of their songs on my Ipod. LOVED that band.
This has always been my favorite INXS song: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/sLm3Khusq_8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
New Trailer. <iframe frameborder="0" width="480" height="270" scrolling="no" src="http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid3671166871001/?bctid=3727149786001&autoStart=false"></iframe> Didn't Michael also hang himself?
So that auto-erotic asphyxiation story is complete BS? Seems so easy to see it wasn't true with little effort at all. Can't believe how it's just assumed as fact for all these years.
I think there were 3 actually: Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/zqGWrLGaTZc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Xvo-bfaVsg0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/kahJYNZx-MI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I definitely agree, they were great. I'd say they qualify as underrated. Tons of great songs produced by them.
Totally forgot that was an INXS song. Not the best, but I did enjoy this song while I was in England. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXxOHYRFebA
