Has been a decent PG since he came into the league...usually hovers around 14pts and 7 assists...Thoughts on picking him up as our starting PG??
He was unhappy there...never got a shot to keep his starting spot when they brought in Jamal Crawford...he was solid at Charlotte and more recently NYK and Denver...with the knicks he was having his best season with 17 and 9 assists...was top ten in assists...then they traded him twice in a year...just saying we dont have a PG right now...could do a lot worse
Dot necessaritly want him. But if it came down to him and Brooks - then its Felton all day every day.
no point in doing this. he has no place in our future. I'd rather watch youngsters play. He's also pretty bad.
Yeah I guess that's true. Be nice to start developing some of our young talent. Going to be a long year though...
We don't really have any young talent at the PG spot. We have a guy who potentially be a backup PG one day if it all pans out right (Machado). And we have a guy who has already shown he's nothing more than a backup (Douglas). So Felton wouldn't interfere with the PG spot at all! Having said that, I'd rather watch someone else play the spot if at all possible. Felton is terrible, a low % jacker who thinks he's a better scorer than he actually is, and doesn't realize that if he gave the ball up more often he'd be a much much more useful player.
