What do people think about Bitcoin?

Greece is about to leave the euro.

could be a catalyst, but bitcoins blockchain will help "stable" economies as well as developing and/or ruined ones

 

Negative interest rates across Europe.

Why pay banks to hold your money when you can buy Bitcoin?

And dont get me started on Venezuela with 100% inflation.

 

Ukraine, Argentina.. the list goes on..

then there are the unbanked, and remittance recipients.. bitcoin has immediate end user cases that will become evident soon enough...

 

yea, just gotta pray you don't lose half of your money when it plummets for whatever reason.

 

Which wouldn't happen once the bits and the blockchain are generating constant demand bc of use in financial and other services

if your opinion is anything other than bitcoin is going to rule the world and make ganja a billionaire, then no, you are not allowed to have an opinion.

I appreciate a lot of the ideas of bitcoin, but it's really weird how some people are OCD about it and trying to convince everyone else it's the best thing.

 

It's not just opinion. There's real, factual developments going on in the real financial world that you're ignoring. That's all.
